Christmas Market - December 14th
Do you have treasures that you are not using or looking to re-gift? This is the perfect event to clear out some clutter before the holidays.
The Advent season has arrived and Christmas is just around the corner. As we have done in past years, we will be putting together “Christmas Hampers” for needy families from our adopted school, St. John the Apostle. Each class, from Kindergarten through grade six, is being asked to bring in a few specific items for the food hamper and donate Here is the list of items per class.
Additionally, a donation can be made through School Cash Online would also be most appreciated. Monies collected will go towards the purchase of a grocery store gift card for each family, so the family can purchase a turkey and fresh fruit and vegetables. We encourage the students to complete a chore at home to earn their own money, so that they experience the gift of giving. Your child’s classroom teacher will be sending home information about the specific item that is being requested for the Hamper. If you are not able to get that item, any item is appreciated. We will be collecting the hamper items and money from Monday, December 4th to Monday December 18th.
